V2 Power drilling help
« on: November 10, 2005, 02:12:59 AM »
umm i kinda deleted the message paul smith sent me about how i should drill my V2 Power so if it's possible could anyone suggest how they'd drill it. the problem i had was i drilled it too strong and it was burning up and even with polishing it that didn't work so im going to get it redrilled today cuz it's been plugged but i need suggestions.

Why? because the reaction won't be the same.

The reaction that im getting currently now is the ball is burning up on the lanes because it's drilled too strong, so it can do nothing but get better.

Well, since you didn't give any information as to how it was drilled before, all I can say is to drill it weaker.  Move the pin further from your PAP and maybe higher as well.  Look at Ebonite's site to give you some ideas.  Their site is very informative.  If you tell your proshop the trouble you were having, they should be able to drill it weaker and still fit your game.

BTW, don't worry about plugging and redrilling.  I have several balls that have had plug work done.  I've shot just fine with all of them.
