It is now an evolution of what used to be an "E" look back at some equipment from the 90s and you will see the "E" and you can see the evolution thru the years.

While it's a stylized "E", E for Ebonite. It looks like a Sickle the tool the Grimreaper carries.

Joe, be nice, don't make us take up a collection for $10 for you...
btw Joe, people are scoring it up real big with the 2.0 and the Taboo...
And in a few more days, they will be scoring with the World Beater...
Hey Joe, i almost forgot...
DEXTER is raising their prices on all shoes...
So you might want to go to their site and start bashing...I heard their shoes were going up $10...oops no seriously $10 a pair....
I wonder, are they related to Ebonite... oops again...

JLS, how is the Mission doing as that is what I have my sights set on at the moment, as soon as I can get caught up to where I can buy 2-3 balls again....

Brickguy, The Mission 2.0 has done very well...Has more length and more back end then first Mission, yet is still smooth...Now there will be another new Mission due out in Feb..
Might be worth waiting for...

I should have been more specific in that I was refering to the original and not the 2.0.
Anyhow, I got my Mission Thurs evening, tried it and like it so far after 6 games with it...3 Thurs eve and 3 Fri in my senior league.

Brick, you can't go wrong with that ball... I would say that in my area most who bought the Mission, bought the 2.0.... Around here you need a little more length and the 2.0 gives you that and still handles the oil...
Now the new Mission 250K is a beast...And Ebonite has a $30 rebate on this ball... Go to their Facebook to download the form....
Take care...

Its the Grim Reaper's scythe that he uses to reap souls.
Ebonite used it on the original skull plastic ball as the logo and it stuck.

Im pretty sure a rep told me at one point its called the "Flying E" i don't think it has anything to do with any of the balls they made it was just a revamp of the logo
