A solid version that was never sold to the public. They made a short run and the few who tried it seem to have liked it. Thus the high price. FYI that's a discounted price. Stock price is $499.99.

The cover is Abzorb Reactive 15.1 and has a variation of the TNV core.  I'll be heart broken if something ever happens to mine.

Depends on if you have the money to spend and how bad you really want it.  Personally, if I had the money I'd buy one.  But I don't, so if I ever want a second one or a replacement, I'll just watch Ebay for a used one.

It was released at the same time as the TNV and only to PBA members and Pro Shops that purchased a certain quantity of TNV's.

It is a high friction cover that they never ended up using (unless they renamed it) on any of the newer stuff.

My brother has a NIB with very good specs if your interested...I am sure it would be cheaper than that price.

From what I have always heard the guys that have them swear they were the best of the NV series and one of the best pieces ever.

Pretty cool nocare...I always planned on punching the one I mentioned but then the prices went through the roof and I decided to keep it as an investment.

Right now there is a used NV on ebay. The Starting price of $325.00 seems awfully high for used ball, even if it is a rare ball.   http://cgi.ebay.com/Original-Ebonite-NV_W0QQitemZ130361467389QQcmdZViewItemQQptZBowling?hash=item1e5a2621fd

No ball is worth that much, unless someone is willing to pay it.

Collector's item. The price is not realistic from a performance point of view, but maybe some nutcase will buy it. That's how markets work!
