Probably the last ball in that line, I have too say that i have not been impressed by the NV lineup myself. Ron and Ed back to the drawing board my friends, you guys need come up with a better high performance lineup than the NV line.

  I have to agree.  As far as I was concerned, NV stood for No Value. I saw others get good results, just never got any myself.

I liked the Total NV, but heard too many bad things about the NVS, so I've avoided the last couple additions to the line (NVS & Complete).

I have the TNV and the NVS  both have been very good to me.  The only reason I dont have the Complete is I bought the Twisted Fury instead.

i like the phoneman have the total nv and the nvs.i LOVE both of my nv line balls and have no problems with them.it's funny how someone wants to trash a ball or manuf. just because they have problems with them when there are others who simply love those balls and manuf.to each his/her own....one man's problem is another man's jewel!!!!i stand behind Ebonite equipment 100% and no i have never experienced premature ball death in any of my Ebonite balls.i also have "the one" and its still going strong.

No trashing going on here, just a bunch of hype with no outstanding ball releases Ebonite need to develop a Cell type of ball. They have had no real oiler now since the Infinite One which was pure sponge, yes i have watched those die quickly like 50-75 games.

My point is the NV series for most bowlers has been unimpressive, the Total was great for most bowlers about 40 games and then died out.

My other post of the Track forum stands they will have to release the best ball they ever have or IMO changes are going to happen if the brand even stays around.

I have 2 inifinites, one with over 200 games and still wrongs strong....Ball death is so circumstancial and can be debated. Just because i few died all won't. I have also owned V2's since 02 and they all still work just fine.

  Nobody trashed anything here.  Conversely, one mans jewell is another mans garbage.  It works both ways

  Then you are very lucky. Lots of people have not been so lucky. Ball death does occur sometimes.  I have the gamebreaker ( same cover as the ONE ) and the pain hammer ( made by ebonite ) and like them very much.  I clean my stuff constantly, but my gamebreaker is a bit milder than when new ( nowhere near dead though ), pain hasn't seemed to change at all.

  All I said was, as far as I was concerned, I had no luck with the NV balls, they were always either too much ball or not enough.

The ebo releases didn't impress me, old cores with super soaker covers. Loooooved my gamebreaker, as soon as it paid for itself I dumped it. Got it back in a trade and was still unhappy and traded it again. I seriously would like to see more durable covers. The equpiment is great.

The CNV excited me but for the price I couldn't justify buying it. I don't like pearls in oil no matter how much oil they drink.

Ball maintenance this ball maintenance that, the ball shouldn't take a crap. I have a 2 year old tropical storm with prob 1k games, still rolls like a champ!!!!

I have a total nv and have used it for a full summer and winter season and ball still hooks a ton.I think it is a great ball,hooks,hits,can play different lines with it...what else could you ask for in a ball...

o.k. i hear all you guys concerning ball death.know what i think....i believe these ball makers nned to get together and do an investigation on why some balls die and some dont.it seems to be a real enough problem to warrant some response.it would be intriging at the most to see what they could come up with.actually the first words out of their mouth would be are you cleaning your equipment properly???
