I have already posted a review on the main page for the Complete NV, but I now have about 15 games in it, and my opinion has changed a little bit about the ball! This ball goes long and has a MONSTEROUS backend! I would say that it is even too strong! I bowled in 3 tournaments this past weekend and we had a city tourney team event last night! I clean my balls with the Ebonite Powerhouse Energizer cleaner after every set, doing so, the next time I use the ball, it takes about 5-6 frames to get the line in the ball, but once I get the line, it works great! I was very discusted with this ball last night though. I was throwing it about 14.5 mph, It was tracking the lane very well, and it had a huge backend and was coming in flush and just crushing the pocket, but I did not carry many strikes! I left 10 pin after 10 pin, and even had a few 7-10 splits to throw in the mix! I think the ball was just coming in at such an aggresive angle, it was not converting the strikes! I moved right on the lane and increased my ball speed to 16.5, this took away some of the flare on the backend and still, the dreaded 10 pin stayed standing on 50% of the shots! I have never seen a ball crush the flush pocket as many times as this ball was tonight and still leave that many single pins!
Can anyone give me hints as to what I can do in the future to stop this from happening? I'm almost getting to the point where I wanna stop throwing the ball and put it on eBay....but it is such a great ball, and it crushes the pocket, I just know there has to be a way to adjust, that is why I need anyone's help that has a suggestion! Thanks alot!
