Gamebreaker vs. Rival
« on: August 27, 2007, 11:19:56 PM »
Can anyone compare the similarities or differences between these 2 balls?  Numbers wise they are not drastically different and from what I am reading they seem to be similar on hook shape and overall hook.  I want to know which one is more hook, earlier hook, which one is stronger on the backend.  Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks.

From what i have seen the rival is a little cleaner through the fronts and has more pop on the backend. The game breaker reads the mids a little sooner.I think overall hook is very close. These 2 balls a very close with minor differences explained above.

Yep what Dannial said already cleaner upfront more off the spot harder, if you want to carry one strike and spare ball i would go with the Rival.

The gamebreaker imo being the one coverstock probably will die at 100-150 games, i have have even seen the One's reaction go away and become dry lane balls.

whts the coverstock form ebonite used on the rival ?? mrnut... maybe this rival will die on the same time than the gamebreaker...
i have a kinetic made by Track well ebonite and a rival... both are reacting pretty well lets se if they can pass the 100 games.. by the way ... the kinetic hits harder than the g force gforce nebula .. hrg uranium ... cobalt bomb.. cobalt bomb solid... carbide plus... and all the balls i have previously... the rivall well i just have uise it on practice ... its a very strong arc reaction on the backend like the super cuda... =)

I keep hearing the Rival and resurgence are new covers, i heard that the resurgence cover was going to go on an Infinite One replacement but was given to the Columbia team to get them off the ground well.

I did also hear that the core in the Resurgence was reworked from the Original design, i must say they did a great job since i like the new Columbia balls better than the Ebonite releases.
