Greetings ya'll.... I am looking to get back into the bowling scene and I have been practicing quite a bit lately. I am trying to get used to a new span and pitches, and been having some pain in my wrist that I have never had before. I know that I am getting older and a still put quite a few revs on the ball.... I was wondering what you guys think of the Ebonite Ultra-Prene Supports? Will this product help relieve some pain that I may have?
Any suggestions or comments on this product? Please help a former bowler get back to bowling without pain.

My basic comment when someone says pain...new grip...are you sure this is correct span ? maybe this new set up is not for you ? Only you know those answers, but that's just my first thoughts.

I think if u are getting back into bowling there should be some pain and soreness. Those are muscles u haven't used in a while.
I bowl 1 league a week during the summer, and I feel the pain/soreness as well.
I use the ultraprene wrist support and it works good, it keeps my wrist warm and loose.

I agree there will be some soreness. About a year ago I started having wrist pain. My first stop was the doctor, he prescribed 3 weeks off and 600 mg of ibuprophen for the first week.
My next stop was to the proshop. They determined my stretched span was now too long for me by 1/8th of an inch. They told me let's try the shorter span and it worked. All my balls were redrilled with an oversized slug shorter. It worked like a dream... no more pain. Just a suggestion for what it's worth, you might want to give it a shot.

Mike gotta be new span and pitches you only layed off 6 months tops, tell ken what is going on. Pain is not normal and you are still in pretty good shape, i have hardly bowled whole summer but never any pain in wrist just stiff legs and back next day from being so out of shape-barry
