Yep, pretty close, depending on the drill.

Is the GameBreaker that strong? Here's the core and specs on it:

http://www.ebonite.com/products/detail.php?PRKey=275

Is that as strong as the Anger's?

http://www.hammerbowling.com/products/balls/detail.php?PRKey=59

Just curious with the difference of the cores, etc. The Raid looks like a great ball though, I'd figure that would be close to Widow/Anger type reaction. Just wondering.

The Raid isn't close to the Anger at all, think Toxic and Raid...even that may not be an accurate comparison.  The Gamebreaker would be very close to the Anger, both are ridiculously strong.

Man that hockey puck and small cylinder in the GameBreaker must be really strong with that cover. Just reminds me of a power groove.

The gamebreaker is basically a V2 with an updated cover.

Yea the yellow in the picture is not filler, it's the core.

...and do not underestimate the power of GB10.7 solid, even sanded OOB. This is strong stuff, and with its rolly core the Gamebreaker is an excellent oil piece. You will just be disappointed if you expect a hockey stick breakpoint shape, or to have the ball work on too little oil, even with polish.

Besides, also never underestimate a Power Groove...

You can try though - look at Kenny Simard last week.

The more I read up on the GB, the more I want to give one a run. We'll see............

Joe Jr.~ That makes sense, I didn't even think about that being the core itself.

The V2 core was/is the best made, IMO, from Ebonite. Makes the balls very versitile, but as said, don't expect a "Black Widow" type backend.

I know my wife loves hers, but she's a old V2 Sanded nut !
