Great Core, XL4500 Hybrid Cover. Got one on the way. You can get yours on July 8.
See it and all the other Ebonite International Balls on June 23 at The Showcase.

I like the look of it. Too many good balls coming out, I'm gonna have a hard time getting something other than the Track HX10 but this one seems very similar based on core numbers and assuming the covers are similar

Have the original Source (never had the Mission, so wanted to try out this core) -- drilled 65 x 5.5 x 50 ..... no hole

Ball clears the heads with ease, reads the mids cleanly and correctly (allows me to know where to play, and how to play it) and when it reads the backend, never over-reacts. Just a nice strong arc (not flip) to the pocket, and it allows me to control the pocket on all medium patterns.

If the Energy Source will be the same core, just a stronger cover, Ebonite has another winner-- with those two balls, everything except dry will be in play with just these two pieces of equipment. Great job Ebonite (and I don't say that often!)
Reax-45x4.5x40(pin down)
Nexus (original)- 45 x 4 x 35 (pin up)
503t-45x4.5x40
Source-60 x 5.5 x 50
Nexxxus f(p+s)-70x5.5x35
Marauder-55x5x50 (2k+polish)
300t-60x5.5x50 (+polish)
Melee-75x6x40 -- Anyone want to buy this?

Agreed, This ball is really great, I'm like you if the new one is stronger then it's going to be another  winner.

This ball looks great. Hopefully it doesn't get overlooked this fall.

Watching the video you can tell the Energy Source is stronger than the original. I know the video is made to make the ball look good but it seems hard to deny that this is going to be a good ball.

Yeah looks to be 3 or 4 boards stronger and more mid-lane. Looks like they will compliment each other well. I know i really like the Source so this one should fall right in place..

I’ll admit, I didn’t always find a permanent place in my bag for balls with the Mission core, but I have enjoyed the Energy Source this season.

As a left-hander, I generally attack the lanes in a straighter fashion to start with or get forced left as a block progresses.

When the ball I start with starts to hook early and/or back off down the lane, I like having the Energy Source, as I move left. It gets through the front cleanly and gives me a predictable, checkmark (angular) reaction into the pins.

This one is drilled 70 x 4 ¾ x 40.

The surface comes at 500/500/500/1000 Abralon w/Powerhouse Factory Finish Polish, which can make the reaction a little over/under. Hitting it with a 4000 Abralon pad breaks the shines and tames it down enough. A little more surface makes this a decent option on shorter patterns. It's very versatile.
