so after i got my one in a 14lbs, i fell in love with ebonite. then i moved up to 15lbs and got the one pearl and am throwing it everywhere i go. i was thinking about going all ebonite. i got an idea of what i want to get but was wondering if i could change anything. i love the GB 10.7 coverstock so wanted to stay near there. let me know what you think. thanks!

That's a pretty powerful arsenal, you might want to get something alittle weaker for drier conditions.

what if i add a clash or bash in there? and hows that new boom? is it suppose to be a good ball that will fit in the spots i need?

I wouldnt suggest sanding a pearl. I think maybe you would look into a couple lane breakers and sand one of them (thats what i did) and then a Boom (very predictable and not over powering). Also, you may want to think about a Smash for something strong. I drilled one rico and it is my strongest peice in my bags.

i love the reaction i get out of my one pearl and the pro shop guy here told me that if i were to take off the surface to my one pearl, it would roll up earlier and can be used on more oily lane conditions, but still have a very similar reaction? is that true?

and now that you mention that smash, it looks very temting. would i still be a strong piece if i were to put a regular layout on it?

That is true but probably not to the effect you are looking for. I have sanded pearl balls before and the gets lost with all of my experiances. If you are just wanting the ball to start a little sooner and you really want The One Pearl. Just drill it to be earlier. I have two Smashes, one rico and the other stacked over my ring finger with no hole and it is close to my Complete NV. All of this is on House shot too. So keep that in min. I have a Regional at the end of June to see how they roll on oil

Agree with EboStaff09 about keeping the One Pearl polished and forget about adding a sanded one. Get a Boom or Smash instead. Might want to look at the Red/Black Bash also. Great dry lane ball that can also be used for spares. Remember "Bowl To Win"

P.S. If you can't get your hands on a Gamebreaker get a Pin Slasher and take the cover down. GREAT BALL!
