Game breaker original or remake

Is there an easy way to tell if a ball is the original or the remake?

The new one has the 2 in the logo, I believe.

I believe he is referring to the GB remake, not the GB2.  Awhile back Ebonite did a remake of the GB, it got mixed reviews from people who had the original GB.  I don't know how to separate the two balls but I remember someone asking a similar question and receiving a response that there is a way to tell them apart.

Look at the first two numbers in the serial number. Older the number, older the ball.
