Signals
« on: August 02, 2011, 06:09:43 AM »
I had the chance to throw this ball yesterday at a demo day in Red Wing, MN
I was pleasantly  surprised at how smooth this ball is.
It is longer than most and not flippy at all at the end of the pattern (not sure what the pattern was though,
Seemed longer and pretty tapered, you could walk just about any ball into the hole)
I am mostly a track guy and I have to say that this will prob find a way into my arsenal.
It is not at all as strong as it looks, but even the ball reps were saying how nice and smooth the move is.

I threw a Signals at Demo Day yesterday and I agree that it was the smoothest of all of the balls that I used.  I liked it so much that I bought one after the Demo.  I also like Track and currently have in my bag a Project, 503C and a 300C.  I was hoping to leave with a 919C but that was the strongest ball of the bunch that I threw and I would never have a need for a ball that strong.  The Signals impressed me with it's smoothness and carry.

I had already committed to buying the 919 before the demo days.
The track rep suggested a change to 4000ab and even polish would delay the break point a bit.
I didn't think the 919 was that strong.
I wish I knew what the shot was for demo days so I could really compare, I should have pulled out my 715t and then I would have known.

The storm stuff was stronger than the 919 for sure, but that equipment is a bit rolly for me, to big of a core.
I wonder how the signals will react with some surface.
Still - signals was my fav ball of the demo days
