NV
« on: August 16, 2007, 12:23:40 PM »
Just picked up my second NV today.  Not the Total NV, but the rare NV.  First one is drilled 3 3/8 leverage (2000 Abralon).  I get a nice even arc with it.  I am thinking of drilling the second one with still an arc drilling but, maybe with the pin over the fingers for a little more length, plus I am going to polish it (4000 Abralon plus Extender polish).  Does anyone think this will work?  Let me know.  The rest of my aresenal is in my profile.

Thanks

of course it will work! with the higher pin PLUS the polish, you might get a lot more length and backend than the other one than you think, but i don't think you'll be dissapointed. even if the new one is too skid-snappy, you can always make a few small surface adjustments to make it right. hope this helped.

As Lefty said....  Ebay is a wonderful thing.  I got the first from my pro shop guy for $350.  The second one I got off of ebay for $242.50 plus $25 shipping, and then $50 to drill it.  If you round it all out, I have $700 in bowling balls in 2 NV's.  But it is an amazing ball.
