Gamebreaker or Anger

If you were to have one or the other - which one of these would you go with, I know they are close.

I had both the anger and gamebreaker. Neither of which I think are true oil balls. However I have found the gamebreaker to work a little better on oil.

For me, Gamebreaker moves better on oil. The core is a low rg of 2.45, which gets it started earlier than the anger 2.5. I wouldn't consider either true oil balls, but I would say that the Gamebreaker is slightly stronger.

Ive had both. The Anger might be a bit stronger overall. But the GB has more control because it was cleaner through the front part of the lane.

The Gamebreaker is the best ball on the Market. The Anger is just another attempt by Hammer to move into the big leagues. Have a Hammer won on tour this year? The last Hammer to win was the No Mercy, use by Doug Kent! I have not seen Doug Kent on tv this year. I have seen Billie Oatman, but he is completely lost with his equipment. Tony Reyes, cannot be found!

I know I have sold more GameBreakers than Angers. From seeing them on the lanes, the GB is a better ball, IMO, for most conditions.

My wife has the GB and it is the ONLY ball that got the V2 Sanded out of her hand. Then again, she's a die hard Ebonite freak !

Yes....A Hammer has won this year, twice. Get your facts straight before you pop off. And its a bowler that won a title...not a ball

Are you kidding me?  What about Mike Wolfe?  He used a Black Widow this year in his first match on TV and won that tourney!

Hammer's attempt to move into the big leagues?  I guess the biggest selling ball in the industry (black widow) doesn't put them into the big leagues?

I think you also forgot about Patrick Allen who won using a couple Hammer bowling balls!

Wow.  Let's look at the numbers.  Ebonite balls have appeared 21 times on television so far this year and Hammer on 16.  Hold on a second.  Of the 21 appearances Ebonite made, 7 were polyester Maxims and only 1 polyester Hammer Tuff.  Looks like Hammer wins 15 to 14.  Guess we should all run out and get Peek-A-Boo Sparkle Maxims.

Brands aside, I think the Game Breaker is a really good ball.  I've definitely seen more of them than Angers.  From what I've seen, though, Angers are a little bit weaker in general.  I think it has more backend, while the GB is supposed to roll more evenly.  As for which I would choose, it would probably be the GB because I don't have a ball that's anything like it right now, while I have enough stuff with backend.
