I had a chance to throw these balls tonight at the Demo Day at Texas Station. The NVS had good length with arc at the breakpoint. The ball is polished and has pearl in the coverstock, from what I can tell. The Raid was long and strong. This ball turned the corner hard. The GameBreaker was just like the original V2. It was strong mid-lane arcing, forgiving, and good punch at the pocket. I look forward to getting these in the shop and doing more testing.

Is the NVS a solid or a pearl?

Mike,
I believe Bill mentioned that there is pearl in the coverstock on the NVS, in most recent Ebonite releases when one or more of the colors has pearlization in it, I believe they've generally considered it a pearl.

I've heard many different things it's a sold, it's a pearl, it's a sold with pearl in the cover.. I'm trying to figure out where it's going to play. I'm guessing around or just below my No Mercy..

Bill do you think this would be comparable to the BW pearl w/just a different shape at the breakpt.
-
I am not sure. Since I didn't test the Black Widow Pearl, and the NVS wasn't laid out for me, it is impossible for me to say.

I wanted to go to that Demo day so bad, but I didn't want to pay 60 bucks for a taxi (there and back) from Mandalay Bay... We left Texas Station on Sunday after the coaching clinics and shacked up at Mandalay from Sunday to Wednesday...

What was the release date for the NVS again???

90 degree cornering at 60 miles an hour. Is that a CORR pro 4 truck, or me rev'n up a bowling ball???
