Title: Ice Drilling
Post by: themachine300 on July 03, 2006, 01:39:24 PM
Well this is my first ebonite ball and i've heard a lot
of good things about it.  I got the ball for broken down
lanes when my others start checking up to soon.  I
throw mostly Brunswick Balls but figured a nib Ice
would be just fine.

Any suggestions?

night and day compared to brunswick. most all brunswick stuff rolls too early. you may find light at the end of the tunnel knowing you can get some length out of a bowling ball. drill it like you would any other ball you want to get some length out of. --cheers

we had much success with this ball this past season.
laid out,   pin under middle finger,  mb left of thumb about 1 1/2" from grip center.
sometimes a neg. weight hole is needed,  buy rarely.

i was at a tournament - and have seen the ball. some people love it - some people hate it.. what i saw was that it hit like a pillow- like you would have to have alot of speed to get that ball to hit hard - i may be wrong.. but my eyes saw what that ball did.

I drilled with a slight negative pin
between the bridge with the cg stacked/kicked
to the right just a tad w/ no weight hole
goes very long and nice control arc on the backend....
Just what i was lookin for
Good job ebo....
