Smashtime-anyone got any feedback?
« on: July 09, 2006, 08:58:11 AM »
Something keeps telling me this is the ball I need.  I need a control ball that will give me a smooth reaction by burning off some energy while still in the oil, but not over hook when it gets to the breakpoint.

I was thinking that one of these with a 2 1/2 X 0 drill, x-hole on pap(cg) drilled back to 1/2 positive might work.  I had a Granite Gargoyle once drilled this way ( and HIGHLY polished, I might add!), but have since gone back to 15lb balls and have had good luck with ebonites lately, so sort of wanted to stay with them a while.

I could play the track area with the granite as long as I didn't have to get left of center, then I had to use something drilled for more recovery. It wouldn't "make it around the corner" with this drill.  Was hoping I might expect the same kind of reaction from the smashtime.......
