Title: If I were to.....
Post by: Parkside4Life on February 16, 2007, 01:38:19 AM
I am looking for something to go in between my NV and Total NV, something kind of like a black widow on steroids, a ball that goes longer then the NV but has alot of midlane and a big sweeping back end. I am a medium rev player with a rev rate around 300 and a ball speed around 17 mph, i have both the NV and the Total NV drilled like there number one layout. Because of how impressive these two balls have been, do you think that a second total NV dulled up would fill this spot? If so, how should i drill it?

smashtime pearl is a great ball and stronger than you would think for a pearl ball..

I think the great slump of 2006-2007 is finally coming to an end!!

I say the Angular One. I just got this ball yesterday and I have it drilled up agressive because Im a low-med rev player around 15mph. This ball read the midlane very well. Found the pocket no matter how far it was right or left. Very clean through the heads and surprised me with how it attacked the pocket. I left 1 10pin all night in 3 league games and no 7's. I struck 6-7 times a game. Only reason why I didnt score well was because I tossed about 6 of them in the gutter, LOL.

Just kept projecting the ball out a little to far. But overall a very good ball. Was actually to much for the 3rd game.

A more agressive drill on a TNV, perhaps taking the polish off the cover a bit, would work, as would an Angular One with a more aggressive drill.
