In Pursuit Of Striking
« on: February 13, 2012, 01:35:33 PM »
Drilled up the S minutes before league. 658 for the night. Had a few in a row, second game.
Very controllable arc with great Hit.
Mr. Pursuit(A) you are next, my  friend.

I am not a huge Ebo fan...I had a red Mission and thought it was OK but nothing to write home about. I loved the Gamebreaker (who didn't???) and a few of the older balls were great but the newer highend stuff has pretty much blown chunks for most people.

I went to the seminar and I have both balls sitting on the shelf. If you pay attention to the science they show in the marketing, there is a lot of new here...new core, new cover, new finishing process and a general whole new concept.

I watched several guys throw them and yes, they hooked, but with the 800/1500 Abranet surface on them and Adrenaline treatment, I would be shocked if they didn't!!! The new coverstock has deeper voids which aids in olil absorption....but should also make it easier to get the oil back out as well.

I put my order in for a couple of each ball since the price reduction through the seminar made them no more expensive than a Storm or Brunswick HP ball. Time will tell.

I give Ebonite props for one thing though....they realized and admitted they had a huge void in their HP ball line and they moved outside of the box to try and fill it....kudos to them..lets see how successful their thinking was.

Is there a reason for BallreviewsDOTcom not having the Pursuit/Pursuit-S/Warning Sign listed for ball reviews?

Both Pursuit's perform well for me. The asymmetric Pursuit has a sharper midlane response than any Mission, and the coverstock is significantly improved for handling oil, however 800-1500 finish plus the chemical treatment will make a ball user-friendly on larger volumes of oil.

Great and positive comments. All the guys who have tried like them equally. That is why there are two?

Haven't used anything but Ebonite in a few years, so can't help you. But, the question is sorta tough?
