info on an old ball?
« on: October 14, 2009, 08:49:46 AM »
hey guys,

well i was just browsing through my pro shop guys old balls that were left when he took over the shop and found an old ball, it wasnt in bad shape and hadnt ever been drilled. so i asked him if i could buy it off him for £2.50 ($5.00 i think roughly) and he said yes.

ive been lookin on the net and cant find any info on it so i wonder if you guys could shed some light on it.

ball details:

manufactuer: ebonite
name: tempest
colour: purple
coverstock material: urethane

i know its not much to go on but i need to know what it was meant to do when originally produced, i know it is not likely to do the same anymore due to to different lane conditions.

thanks for any info

A pancake core urethane ball made for sporting good stores. Very smooth urethane roll for dry to medium conditions depending on the bowler. This ball will be close to what you can expect.
