Ebonite Xcel Pearl unsung oldy!
« on: October 22, 2007, 01:22:32 AM »
Just tried a change in drilling....put comments over in drilling.

Converted from Brunswick 4L to 3L by the addition of a weighthole.

Now we're talkin!

I'm becoming more and more impressed with this ball.

Reviews that rave about it are similar to my opinions.

What length and backend.  What hit!

I tried to give this ball away, it finally cracked the entire ball i thought it was junk and i guess everybody else must have too.

Everybody is different you love it and most bowlers got rid of it quick.

I love this ball, it goes long, snaps and cracks the pins apart. By far my favorite pearl ball. Great ball just like most of Ebonites stuff.

drilled pin above ring by an inch...mass bias on thumb and a reaction enhancing weighthole 2 inches past VAL!

Compares favorable to my two favorite pearls of all time....Impact Zone and the ...ummmmm Impact Zone...he he!  Or should I say it's clone with powerkoil 17 the Battle Zone Bullet!

That was the Chromaflare Pearl. That pigment that changes color when different angles are used. It was thought it would make the cover that would make the ball go longer and react stronger.

Got some compliments on the move of this ball in drilling referred to above.

Man this thing really can charge the hole!

I've seen some reviews compare it to the V2 and then others poo poo this comparison.

But frankly I like it better than my V2 pearl.
That thing revved too hard while this really can save it and make a great backend break!

WOW!
