I am getting one of these soon and was wondering how should I have it drilled for it to handle some oil. Looking for it to hold medium-heavy and my PAP is 4 3/4 right and 1/4 up. My track is usually 1 inch to the left of my thumb. I got pretty good speed and not a whole ton of revs. Axis rotation is somewhere around 45 degrees. Any help would be appreciated.

If your track is 2" from your thumb, I'd think your axis would be less than 4 3/4.
Here's the drill sheet for the KI from Ebonite.

Layout #1 (4", 90 degrees) might be better if your axis really is 4 3/4. Layout #2 (4" 45 degrees, rev leverage) might be better if your track and high speed/lower revs is as you described.

I agree with Strider. I am 4 3/4" so if you are 2" from thumb, you are more like 3 3/4" and 4 at the most, if even that much.

That's my bad I hit the wrong key. Glad someone caught that otherwise I look pretty stupid. I meant 1 or so inches. Between 1 and 1 1/2 is more like it. Sorry bout that.
