Now why would anyone buy that without the special drilling instructions. Specially at that price there is much better equipment out there for way less money.  I don't care if it is rare or not, definitely not worth that.

I watch ebay regularly for older bowling balls new and have seen on average the past two years a handful of them new go around $100ish.

Alls it takes is one person who really wants one or a couple of people and the next thing you know a 15 NIB Sapphire Zone sells for $225 and the next day a 2nd one listed goes for $300.

On average many of the retro bowling balls from '96 to current undrilled go for $70 to $150ish. Which isn't bad depending on what your looking for and willing to spend. If you throw 16lbs you can find almost anything NIB from whenever for less then $50.

yeah the old ball market is funny
I mean really people have to be kidding with the prices
this omega did not retail for $250 when it came out and was supposed to be new technology with its "acrylic coverstock"
I mean its not a classic car, its a bowling ball,
I cant see paying any higher than what the actual retail of the ball was when it was new is
and even then I have a hard time accepting that
