I received my SR300 today. Drilled it 4½" 60 degrees with a balance hole 3" from center of the grip to bring it back to ½oz. pos side. Haven't thrown it yet but I took some pics http://spaces.msn.com/internationalbowler/photos/

How about now?

I saw it. You have to have an MSN or hotmail account to view it. It looks MUCH BETTER than in the catalogue. It kinda reminds me of the vicious particle pearl except instead of blue it's green.

Getting Zero is an accomplishent that you should be proud of!!!

Agreed, this looks a lot better IRL than it did in the catalogue pic. Usually I find it's the other way around.

Looks just like The One.

Yeah Tim, about time I got something earlier than you
. Too bad I won't get to take your money at BAI2006 this year. Maybe next year?
I've used the same layout on my Big One and on an Xcel Pearl. They are both strong yet get good length and have controllable break points. And I wanted this to fit just under the Big One so I went with the same layout. I'm going to throw it tomorrow to see if I made the right choice.

I'm in the minority here because I kinda liked the "post-buffet vomit" color I originally saw for this ball. There are too many bluish/greenish/purplish balls out there alreday and the original color - as much as it may have reminded us of those old radiation sickness films - was at least something different.

I will.
That room ended up like that after a night of poor bowling. None of us made any money lol. We were able to put everything back and nothing broke so we didn't end up with a huge bill

I just finished testing the SR300. I tested it on a 37ft. heavily crowned pattern with medium/heavy oil. I also brought a Big One and a One to see the difference. The SR300 is cleaner through the heads and midlane than the Big One and much stronger on the back end. No surprise since it is losing less energy going down the lane. It is a tad earlier than the One but it is more angular off the dry. Could be the surface prep. The way I see it it fits nicely in between The One and The Big One. I'll post more if I see anything different the next couple of times I use it.
