ball choice help
« on: September 17, 2003, 06:39:51 AM »
looking for a deeper inside angle heavy oil ball.  Need a smooth midlane read and a strong controlled arc.  One that will handle carrydown.

addiction
aggression
jungle green

of these 3 which is the smoothest?  the strongest, using a fairly standard label drill

thanks

not the aggression...it was a failed attempt at a heavy oil ball

the addiction should be more angular and able to get down the lane a little bit, but still very strong

A friend has had recently good luck with the Jungle green; he reports it is one of the strongest balls he has used in a long time. It handles medium-heavy oil and seems to hook a good deal for him. He hasn't been this happy about a big hooker in a while AND it's relatively inexpensive, as such balls go.

I would go either Addiction or Jungle Green. Depending on your style. I have noticed that people with better hand tend to like the Jungle Green better. The Agression along with the new Obsession have that more rolly effect and didn't match up with a lot of players. Addiction is a good all-around med/heavy oil ball. Didn't really catch on a ton but I like its versatility.
