Title: Looking for a new ball for my girlfriend
Post by: crusher267658 on April 13, 2012, 04:36:53 AM
My girlfriend currently has a Elevate. Very good rolling ball for her. But there are times where it just isn't enough for when conditions are a little heavier. Ball comes in very flat and just never gets into a big enough roll to drive thru the pins harder. I was looking at the Warning Sign and the Pursuit. Just curious to get others opinions on these balls to see how they compare and roll. She's a medium speed player with low to medium revs and speed around 14 to 15 mph. We bowl on wood lanes for the majority of the time. Thanks

My wife was having the very same prob with hers so many flat tens and she left the bucket alot so our proshop guy said give the 716t a try and boy was he right she is loving this ball he drilled it about 3" from her pap that put the pin next to her ring finger and he said it would help it get into its roll sooner she has only had it for two weeks so far but the two sets with it were 637 and 663 now you should know she had a 172 avg befor.

Thats good. Problem is my girlfriend is stubborn and there's no way she will throw anything but Ebonite.

Tell her that Track is in the Ebonite International family and that their balls are great. If not, get her another Elevate with a lot of surface and a stronger drilling. Maybe a Warning Sign would be good too.

FWIW.....The Pursuit is a fantastic rolling ball.  I went to a Demo Day where they had these and they sold like crazy.  If all she wants is an Ebonite ball and needs something with better oil handling capabilities, then the Pursuit is definitely worth looking into.
