Total NV question?
« on: January 27, 2007, 12:26:27 AM »
Would the Total NV fit in between my Total Inferno and my Sling Blade. I have label drillings on the TI and Sling...I would like to put a label drill on the TNV. Also, would a label drilling on the TNV give me arching reaction or a angular reaction. Cannot do angular. Here are my stats if it helps.

16.5 to 17.5 MPH
Pap 4 5/8 over and 3/4 up
around 300 revs

Thanks in advance.

Tracy,

I do think that would work. I know the TNV is stronger than your sling blade and I am sure less hook than the total inferno. But I will tell you my Toatl NV does hook quite a bit.. I would go for it..

Not sure about where the ball will fit, but as for drilling...
Ebonite does not recommend the label drill uness you have very high revs or very slow ball speed. For a strong arcing ball reaction, they recommend a stacked drill (pin and MB both 3-3/8 from PAP). Have you watched the vids on Ebo's web site? Pretty infomative.

Jeff Ussery can give you some great input too. My Total NV is awesome. Tried it today on a fresh THS, and it was too much.

I just got done drilling my 3 Total NVs today!  Not enough sample for ball reviews yet, but they'll be coming within the next week.  Three totally different layouts and three totally different ball reactions; all as expected.  This ball is definitely something special.
