really? weaker than the boom?  Its got a stronger jacket, lower rg core.  The diff is a little lower but still i don't see how these ball can be weaker than the boom or smash with the stronger covers

Could be in the balls layout since the OP never mentioned anything about how he has it drilled or what kind of surface that it was.

medium drill layout for my PAP and took the surface to 500, 1000 then light polish (similar surface to the trap)

I thought it would be stronger than those two as well but I am happy its not, we will see what happens with my second one

You changed the surface from 4000 to 1000 (with polish) then you say it''s exactly as advertised? How can you say that, when the ball you used is different from the ball they advertised?

And it''s still weaker than the Boom?

I''m glad you liked it, but  .... did you also change your Boom to 1000 grit + polish?

i hit the surface with 500 then 1000 and then polish, i never use balls at out of box finish  due to the fact that i have a higher rev rate and lower ball speed so everything hooks too much...i hit my boom with 1000 then 2000 and yes it is still weaker than my boom...the ball is still going to keep its characteristics due to the cover and core...my next one i will drill and leave and throw it at box finish and let you know then

The advertisment is ball clears the heads and has a smooth backend reaction and that is what i received
