I'm looking for a new ball. I want something for medium oil patterns. I throw with a lot of revs and a very high track with medium speed. I have a Slate Blue Gargoyle for drier and several reactives that I use on wetter house shots. I tried a Vortex I but it hooked too early with its low RG unless it was a longer oil pattern. I need something quite a bit weaker in terms of boards of hook but I still want good carry. I've tried A Barbed Wire and the hook amount is perfect but it tends to ping corners unless the oil pattern is really short or the backends are flying. I want a ball with that amount of hook but good carry. Any thoughts?
