Taking a quick look at Ebonite's middle priced balls just now, I am reminded that they have produced some great and highly ignored balls. People seem so focused, even here at Ballreviews where we expect people to know better, on the latest mutha-hooking balls for the revless!

Vortex II Sanded
Nitro/R
Big Time (solid)

You have a PROVEN bunch of price leader balls that can handle almost any condition for any type of bowler, very well.
Why Ebonite and its reps do not push these ball more, why the EBonite aficionados (fans) do not discuss these GREAT balls more here, just amazes, confuses and disappoints me.
These balls are the bread and butter of the Ebonite family. When these don't sell, Ebonite does not make money.
I haven't used many Ebonite balls since the Apex and the Cougar badly disappointed me; loved the Tornado Sea Foam Blue (the solid; still have it; may dig it out again; I can trust it.).

Bowling: Just like hand grenades and horse shoes, you only have to get close.
Life: Deal with what is.
