Boy does this ball look nice. The orange is very vibrant, but not obnoxious.
I drilled my first one 45 degrees by 5 1/4" by 25 degrees. I was looking for a ball that was longer than my pin down Mission but flippier than my pin up GameBreaker. Anybody who is friends with me on Facebook can see the ball pic in my mobile uploads album.
I threw it on our second shift league, which followed a mixed league with many polyester balls going down the middle of the lane. The first game and a half were still a little too over/under. The new Mission 2.0 really hooked if I hit the dry a little early, and pushed a little too much with I kept it in the swamp. As the night progessed and the hook spot blended out, the ball really came to life. I just moved my feet in a little and the shots that left 2 pins earlier in the night now were half-pocket strikes, and former "4-thru-the-middle" shots held off enough to high flush, and blow the pins back. The motion was very clean through the front of the lane, strong roll at about 35 feet, and a hard move into the pocket, it was exactly what I was looking for! I ended up shooting 298 the last game to salvage the night for 735.
The first game I probably should have used my Mission or another 2.0 drilled a little stronger to read the middle of the lane more, but of course I had NBS (new-ball syndrome), and had to throw it the entire night. I couldn't tell you how many people came up to me and Chris during the night asking what ball it was and told us to drill one for them when they came in. Overall I can't wait to throw this ball some more, I think it could work on a whoooole lot of patterns.
