I've hear several things that were out rageous that I would never do to the "technology" we spend good money on, from putting them in the dish washer to putting them in the over. I read an article on deep cleaning you can do your self that is safe. First let me say your pro-shop can service your equipment, but I've done this with great results.
1.Set the ball(s) in your sink or tub(more than 2) and run the water as hot as it goes till they are submerged.
2.Sqeeze some Dawn liquid dish washing into the water after its run to avoid bubbles.
Watch the oil after about 10-20mins float to the surface.
3.Wash them(wipe them down good in the same water)and Drain after 30mins.
4.Run the hottest water again over the balls to esure the Dawn is completely off and dry throughly(GENTLY dry the holes with the towel and srcew driver.
5. Hit the surface with your Energizer cleaner(good to do after each game for the surface cleaning,the pores are open)
Take it to the lanes and watch what me and my friend do, Watch the ball go YAACKKAA!!
