Mission 2.0 video Update (pic uploaded)
« on: February 10, 2011, 01:10:15 PM »

Mission 2.0 and a few shots with the mission.

Mission 2.0 is drilled with the "do not dirll" layout and the ball is still plenty strong.

Sorry the video isnt chopped and prettier but im not good with that stuff.

but these are shots right after the other which people beg for.

That's a really nice video. I like honest videos like yours where you show what actually happened with each shot. Most people that post videos edit out the non-strikes and I don't like that as they aren't honest videos, but yours is.  Thanks for posting.

nonononono.......Hopefully you are kidding. Yours is perfect as posted in your topic.  House hacks like myself don't want to watch videos with nothing but strikes. We like videos exactly like you posted in your topic.

The only thing I could find wrong with your video is that you were throwing with the left hand and not the right hand.... j/k

The house im bowling in has a fairly tough shot. The 2.0 is one of the few balls that I have ever thrown out here and seen it come back. Most of the time when I miss left if the ball even gets back to the headpin it will leave 3-7s or buckets all day.

Will be trying on fresh in league tonight hopefully with good results. If I remember I will snap a shot of the layouts of both balls.

My mission is stronger than my 2.0 but that's intentional the mission is plenty of ball for anything I will ever see with a minor surface adjustment. The 2.0 looks like its going to fit beautifully just below it for me.

Let us know how it does on your fresh shot league shot. Maybe drilling the 2.0 against Ebonite's recommendation is the way to go, I don't know as the 2.0 seems to be a love it or hate it ball for most people and not user friendly like the original Mission.

I just got an original Mission almost 3 weeks ago and I have loved that ball from the first time I rolled it down the lane. That ball provides unbelievable control and power. It's making me forget the Gamebreaker I so loved, really fast.

I love my mission as well especially since I polished it up. I was having issues with it rolling to early and not finishing. I hit it with factory finish polish and the ball came alive. Ive never felt confident moving inside with a ball in this house until I polished my mission up.

I won the 2.0 off of ebonites facebook page and really didnt know what to do it with. I know my mission will have the polish knocked off to go to a tournament most likely. When going to a tournament I prefer to play a little bit straighter and the mission will be plenty strong for me and allow me to play  further left even on the slickest shot (i hope). So I was wanting my 2.0 to be weaker than my mission and the only way I could think to achive it was to drill it with the mass bias close to my track plus ive always wanted to try the drilling I just never felt like putting the money in a new ball to do it.

If I get a chance I will try to catch a few shots tonight on the fresh and upload them. I dont know how to do any fancy editing so it might just be one shot videos.

So I bowled on fresh tonight with the 2.0. First 2 games were 195 and 220, missed 2 easy spares game 1.

By game 3 the ball just rolled to early. The ball started to check up about the arrows and when I tried to move right I ran into righties burn.

I believe im going to hit it with some factory finish polish and hopefully it will help me be able to stay left longer.

Picture of my 2.0 on the original post
heres a pic of the mission

If i was more technologically inclined I would do some video reviews, but this is the best i can do.
