Mission X core question
« on: October 20, 2011, 02:44:55 AM »
I just drilled my Mission X yesterday. I throw 14lb now due to recent injury. My concern is this: It did not have a black core as advertised. It was tan like my previous Mission balls (15lbs by the way ). The other concern with the core is that the RG is 2.55 for 14lb. The 15lb shows RG of 2.50. That is quite a jump . Most of the time it is a smaller difference in RG.

                                                                     Rg            Diff

      For Example :   Mission $250K   14lb   2.50         .052

                                                            15lb   2.49         .050

                                                            16lb   2.48         .049

                                MissionX             14lb   2.55         .057

                                                             15lb   2.50         .050

                                                             16lb   2.50         .046

Almost feel like I got cheated cause I throw 14lb. Was this done on purpose or did I get a defect non black core ? Why the big difference in Rg ? It rolled ok, maybe a little lopy. I wish I could compare it to a like drilled 15lb., but 14lb is all I can handle right now. I shot 654 on a night where carry for some was an issue....3 man scratch. It's probably in my head but it just didn't seem to rev up like my other Missions.

Anyone have any insight on this ?   Thanks

Just wondering how deep the holes were drilled?

Remember, ALL BOWLING IS LOCAL!
