I've tried everything. Hook again, CPR, hot water, you name it. Mine is gone after 1/2 season. Good luck.

As many people have said that is the new breed of Ebonite/Hammer balls.. After say 40-75 games everyone says they start to see less hook potential and then towards the end, the ball doesn't hook at all...

I used Brunswick cleaner because it works, and Clean and Dull, and I DID use the Ebo towel, although the Wal Mart brand works just as well and you get 10 for 5 bux.

Yeah, I threw a buddies TNV and it was totally sick what it does. Too much ball for me actually, I dont like playing 5th or 6th arrow usually. The million $ question is, will it hold up?????

My Infinate one has made it to the shelf. After just over half a season. Clean it rejuved it sanded it.Still had to change my shot from a swing to down and in. Got my new Total Nv last week, loving it so far. Just changed the cover to 1000 with polish. I like having it polished as it stores energy longer and still will have its punch at the end. I hope it makes it through the season as I bowl in 2 leagues and rarley buy a ball this late in the bowling season. Ben

Jayro,

Yes it is possible, but yes the balls suck oil, you need to actually REJUVINATE the ball, I have soaked a ball in water a bunch of times and then the next day take it and bake it and it bleeds for hours ( that was not an ebonite btw) so I don't think soaking it is the best way to go.

I do agree that sometimes we think a ball is dead and really it just needs to be baked and the take the surface UP not down and I have had great success getting balls to work again and even better. I was experiencing a ball that was burning up like crazy outside, but there was enough oil that it didn't have the pop in the back to make it work in deep, it would hook but just not as much as I thought it should. Then I bake it and take it to 2000 abralon and it is a beast again.
