To Brian Pursell,
Just wondering how long Ebonite will keep the Tornado TPS in their line???
I hope forever! This ball is great for the person who still wants to use a particle ball even after they start to dry up (but it has to be kept polished up). And even when the heads start to dry but when there is Carrydown, this ball is also great!
The strong booming backend on this ball is amazing.
You'd think that by looking at the "weak" looking core in this ball (and in the Blue/Violet Sparkle), that the ball would be a weak hitting ball and not have much backend, but it's not! How in the world does this core produce this much HIT and backend drive???
So basically I'm just wondering how long Ebonite will keep the TPS, as well as the regular Reactive Tornado, in their line??? And if they ever discontinue the TPS, will they replace it with another ball that rolls just like the TPS??? Some say that the V2 DRY is comparable to it, but in my oppinion the V2 DRY doesn't have anywhere near as much backend as the TPS! The V2 DRY needs dry boards, but the TPS can handle some oil.
Please keep this ball in the line, or at least something like it. Every time one wears out from so much usage, I'll buy another one to replace it (and I'm talking about both the regular Reactive and the Particle TPS)!!!
Both of these balls are a MUST for my arsenal!!! They cover all the Mediums and Medium/Dry that I see! I keep the TPS polished to about 2000-2500 grit and the regular Blue/Violet Sparkle Reactive polished to about 4000-5000 grit.
Thanks!
