need help with ball replacement
« on: February 10, 2007, 05:20:44 PM »
hey guys. my current arsenal consists of the agent, ambush and scorchin' inferno. i need replacements for the ambush and scorchin' but i can't really decide. can u guys help?

i'm a right bowler with average revs, high track and ball speed of about 18 mph. i don't really know how to see the angle of rotation, all i know is my roll is not too forward or too extreme. i like to play the inside line(not too deep) and have my breakpoint at around the 8 board.

any help is appreciated. thanks a lot!

That equipment is still available so unless you are asking for another reaction, go buy them again

I am curious as to why you are asking for advice on this forum instead of going to your pro shop operator, who more than likely knows your game and can give you the best advice.

Chill out with the harshness people. Maybe he is pursuing new equipment and wanted to see what works well for most.

Right now, the best ball to replace your Scorchin' would be the Total NV. The Total NV is going to be about 5-6 boards stronger in reaction shape than the scorchin' and it will also be longer.

For the Ambush (one of my all-time favorite balls), I would go with a Smash Time Pearl. This ball is not a light load particle as the Ambush, but it will get length and be closer to what your Ambush looks like.
