Title: New Cyclone colors?
Post by: JS on December 20, 2011, 12:44:09 PM
I thought I saw a post awhile back with a link for the new colors coming out for the Cyclone.  My wife wants a new Cyclone and she asked me what the new colors were and now I can't find any info on these new releases.

Does anyone have any info or links?  Thanks.

js

Iam not too into the pink color but if its a color thing and not the ball in general she wants..  you should take a looksy at the new 900/G hybrid hook ball.. its a little cheaper too.. the pink with the silver and black swirl  is amazingly sweat looking.. most balls to me don't stand out(its just a ball Iam thinking), but this one popped out the first time I saw it.. I was like thats pretty cool looking!!

Ebonite posted a poll on Facebook with some suggested color combinations, but I haven't heard that they moved forward with the winning suggestions.

Thanks everyone for the responses.  My pro shop contacted the Ebonite rep and he said no new Cyclone colors until May 2012.

I must have been mistaken thinking I saw something on this earlier.  Thanks again.

Great question. Which present colors do you like? What new colors would you BUY?

balls take on average about 1-1.5 years from start to finish, to be released. so whenever a poll is taken dont expect any results from it for about 1-2 years.

Well they did the poll in Nov. and the new color is supposed to be out in May. That's only 7 months.

I would agree that an all new core and cover ball release would take the timefrae that you suggested but not stuff that is based on already existing technology. And not too much stuff is all new anymore....so...
