$230??

Doom.
My buddy from high school just got signed to ebo. I think they gave him one. I think hes won a few toruneys with it in the few weeks, LOL hes in freak out mode on fb over his haha.

What's the deal with the Gamebreakers? I wasn't bowling at the time they were released.
-
Great weightblock with a decent cover... but the price seems a bit... extreme.
But, thanks for the link, Brick! I scored a Mamba Hybrid and Green Mamba for $155!
-
Do the Mamba's have the same weight block?
I think I read somewhere that Gamebreakers don't meet USBC specs or something like that but they are legal because they came out before the spec rulle change?
-
Komike,
No, I really like the weightblock in the Mamba/Bank series from AMF/900 Global.
Although, the weightblock in the Gamebreaker is pretty awesome.

I agree the price is high, too high if I was looking for one, but I have one. I suspect the reason for the high price is the scarcity of the ball. A very popular ball, but no longer made and none available except in rare instances like this, thus the high price.

I have 5. Not for sale, they are that good.

I don't blame you as they really are that good. If I had an extra(s) I wouldn't sell either.
-
Oh, I agree with that as well. Considering they were $189 drilled in shops, I bet it was much cheaper to buy a case then lol.

More people are more interested in older Ebi equipment then anything current. That's interesting. The rebranding of the 4 may help with that some. We shall soon see.

Just looked at this.
AS of now, Thursday, 11/7, 8 AM, Buddies no longer lists the Gamebreaker.

Once balls are approved, they're approved forever because they met the standards at the time of their creation and manufacture. Whether they meet them now or not is irrelevant.
Mamba's are made by 900Global/AMF.
Gamebreakers are made by Ebonite.
Totally different corporations.
They won't and can't have the same core.

Wow, as of 5pm yesterday CST, there were 4 left!

Ebonite had some great pieces back in the day. I was just Ebo for about 8 years, and loved the wave series, Wolf series, Stingers, tomahawks, Apex's. Then we went off on a tsngent, and I lost them.

Yup, got my exceed and vital sign just the other day. The new balls are just too strong for the houses I play in.
-
I've thrown an original Gamebreaker and loved it just like everyone else. The thing that blows my mind though, is for how much love this ball gets you never hear about its pearl complement the Playmaker...my fav ball of all time.
