Title: No Limit
Post by: PAP on May 09, 2006, 03:25:52 AM
Hello everyone. I got a Ebonite No Limit to my shop today.
Specs were:
Phazed bomber reactive (black/goldpearl)
Y-shaped core (diff 0.070)
Does anyone know anymore about this one,
any pics of the core??

If those specs are correct, it won't be legal for USBC competition.  I think Visionary's Immortal was the last ball grandfathered in with a differential of greater than 0.06.

Of all the new releases, I think this one and the Smash Time intrigue me the most, I love the Phazed Bomber reactive cover, I'm curious to see what the core is gonna look like (y-shaped could mean anything...).  What I'd like to know though is if this is the ball that's going to replace the V2 line?  It's kind of obvious where some of the newer balls are going to fall (Infinite One, Smash Time, Whirlwind) but this one and the SR300 don't seem to have a line to be put into.

Basically i'm looking for more information on the No Limit and the Smash Time, pics would be nice, but not necessary, I just wanna know what the orbs are gonna do, thanks!

Its an introduction of a new line of bowling balls. If it were a replacement, the core would be somewhat similar IMO.

The sr300 core resembles a xxcel or xxxcel core, whichever had the "nubs" at the top. Whether they are the same or modified, I don't know. Those 2 balls rolled like buttah and I can't wait to see what a pearl gb cover will do around that core.

The No Limit core looks like the letter y turned upside down in a way. Its a bit difficult to explain. I'm sure you'll see it soon.. Don't lose sleep over it.

I could just take some pics of the catalogue and post them, but that would be way too easy

You're such a tease...

I know some of the color-happy people would love to see the pics, and like i've said before, i'd be more interested in the specs...but I imagine the catalog would have both so...

Phazed Bomber Reactive as stated in the original post...this is the same cover as the mega-successful XXXCel and Over Time, and it is a solid reactive

Looks sort of like a modified propellor core from the old TPC series.

PAP is right, it's almost identicle to the core used in Hammer's overseas X line...

I was thinking the same, but it's actually the Dynasty, the Conquest was red/black/white
