The TNV is getting so much attention now, its like the AO is waaaaaaaaaaay beneath
it now in the bowling hierarchy world and it just seems like yesterday ALL the talk was about the AO....just an observation

Of course I'll have to try it too

isnt this pretty much the case with every ball?  The only company i can think of that the newer stuff gets slightly less hype than some slightly older stuff is hammer, & this has only happened with the BW.  The toxic & no mercy have gotten some hype, lots of people like the balls, but the widow is still the 1 everyone talks about.

Its just the way life works, newer = better, or at least more heavily marketed/hyped.

Once a new high performance piece appears, the ball release 3 months ago is immediately outdated - or so it appears. At Ebonite, it is a shame that the Gold Line balls (No Limit, SR300 and RXS300) only receive few attention. And at Brunswick, I have the impression that the Total Inferno got totally lost under the hype around the Fury. Bad thing if this happens too fast, expectations keep rising with every generation, and so will disappointment.

Yes, it does seem like a game of one-upmanship.  The Total Inferno and Angular One were both approved 10-06 - both hyping new coverstock (new version of Octane vs new version of GBV).  Fury and Total NV both approved 01-07 - both hyping new core designs!

Then of course as soon as those 2 balls are announced, everybody starts asking "When's <insert company name> gonna put out a new ball?"
