Is it me or do all those balls look butt ugly. i looked at the Black widow from hammer too and was not impressed. The only new ball that looks asthetically pleasing is the hammer pain.
but thanks paul for the pics

The balls look good and performs very well. Photos don't do the balls justice.
The Black Widow logo on the ball looks great.
-
What I like from the colors is that they are distinguishable from any other balls you see on the market. The SR300 is a little weird, but the other 3 looked pretty cool.

I dunno, I really like the look of the Infinite One.
-
I love the look of the whole ONE series. One, Big One, and now Infinite One. The Infinite is like a mix between the other two.

omg they are so ugly. The performance of the ball BETTER MAKE for the appearance of the ball.

I watched Tommy Jones throw all but the Smash on the pair of lanes just a pair away from me last Saturday at the SC State bowling tourney. Lane conditions were awful for everyone, TJ included. I can't really give a good summation as to the reaction because I was bowling myself & taking care of a bored girlfriend but, in all honesty, the conditions were horrible (streaky dry & short) and it probably wouldn't have been indicative of the balls' true reactions anyway.

The SR300 is ugly as sin, and that's coming from a guy who willingly purchased the V2 Strong/r because of the color.
...looking back, it is what the guy who runs my home house said it was:
"What'd you do, puke on it?"

Yeah, it does look alot like the scaliene, but its not as its symetrical whereas the scalene was an asym. I'm really interested to see this ball, as I feel as though it will really help less knowledgeable bowlers. The main problems I saw with the One were the oob surface and difficulty drilling it (for less knowledgeable drillers, not mine
) This ball should eliminate both to a great extent and also be a little easier on the wallet. I also like the fact that they're going to more structured ball lines, its not a big issue, but the 20 different lines that Hammer had out this past year were kind of confusing.

Where does it say the differential is .070. To my knowledge it doesn't and also a differential like that is illegal. The ball, in my own opinion, will be about as strong as the one. The core of the one is very agressive, but I usually find that asymetric cores, while having the ability to roll eary, tend to be a bit longer than symmetric cores of similar #'s. The whole zone series has a tendency to do that as compared with the infernos of the same cover. I figure that the SR300 will be a ball that will allow one to play straighter and not have problems with over reaction.

You guys are a bunch of F'n losers. I bet you stand in front of the mirror all day looking at your 450 lbs. Why does the color of a ball matter? Who are trying to impress with that? What impresses me is the reaction of the ball on the lane, how it reads the mids, how it handles carrydown.
Idiots like you would rather average 200 with a ball that "looks nice" then 220 with a ball the works right.
I wish you guys lived near me, id buy these balls just to take all your money in pot games.
Does anybody know the official release date of these balls? Im heading to USBC Nationals next month and want to know if I should look for them.

I like stuff that looks nice, but at least for me its more like: "This ball I just bought works well and also looks nice" Its not "OH wow that ball looks nice let me go get it." I never purchase a ball based on the color/appearance. You can get a similar reaction from different equipment but everything is differentiated. The One and Paradigm may share some similarities, but the One is a polished solid while the Paradigm is a polished pearl. Thus the P will get down the lane a little better and may have a different reaction shape. Go with what you feel will perform the best.

I guess on the "Infinit One" we are have to sand this one up to 2000 to get the reaction we want out of it as were we had to sand "The One " down to 1000 or 2000 to get the desired reaction.
I wish the Smash Time would have been a pearlized cover with the Over Time core with a lower RG because having another Apex Addition on the market is not appealing. I think the Infinit one will be a bit hit like the previous "Ones".
i can't wait to get my hands on a few of these......JOE FAIRLEY WHERE ARE YOU!!!!! LOL

They'd just rather average 220 with an eyecatching ball, than average 220 with an ugly ball.
These people really support their ball company, and want a new ball to be a total package so that it sells well rather than just rolls well. Its can be the difference between a best-seller and an undiscovered classic.
They want to give their company feedback to make it successful, so dont jump down their throats. How a ball looks has a huge bearing on how it'll sell for all the players that dont just stick with one company.

www.rpsbowling.com - Get a Grip
Obviously, you own a pro-shop, worrying about how a ball will sell. And that's fine from a business perspective, I would agree, eye-catching colors might help a ball sell more, especially to the 170-180 average bowlers that dominate the attendance of leagues and are the biggest ball buyers.
But, a more advanced bowler should not care about color. If they are loyal to one particular company, either by contract or by choice, then color doesn't matter. And why bother telling them that?!? If you are a free agent and have many balls from many companies, such as I, then again color shouldn't matter. I want a ball that matches up best with my game, I wouldn't care if it puke green mixed with s*&t brown, if it complimented my game gave me the reaction I was looking for on the lane conditions I wanted it for, then i'm buying it.
And for those who complained about my pot games comment, I wouldn't beat them because of a new ball, I would beat them because I cared about getting a ball that works well with my game, not that looks good.
There are way more important things about a ball then color, that's all im trying to say, but some people in this forum seem only to care about that. I can understand a breif comment at the end of post about it, but people are writing whole post on how bad these balls look.

According to Ebonite, the Infinte One comes out July 15th. I would assume the others would be around that same time frame.
