Anybody thrown or seen someone use one of these? I love the entire series and am thinking about putting holes in the one I have. Curious as to how it reacts compared to the rest of them.

I am talking about the original limited run solid released with the Total.

From the times I have seen it thrown it is earlier by about 5 feet and about 5 boards stronger than the TNV.

I've thrown the Total NV and I liked it. One of my good friends has one and anytime I'm struggling getting the reaction through the breakpoint. I go raid his bowling bag. People that I know who have both the Total NV and Complete NV say there is really not much difference between the two. Of course this is from people who get bowling balls and drill them up the same way and expect a huge difference.

He is talking about the NV. Not the Total or the Complete. When i talked to TJ he said that the ball is so strong that he rarely gets to use it. But i dont know what layout he used. My dad has one and it really didnt do much for him. He has it at 500 polished right now and it is super smooth for him.

Cool..thks makpa. I gotta figure out if I am gonna drill it or just sell it. Going to Vegas in two weeks and I could use the cash but if I drill it maybe it helps me to make some cash. I dunno. Quite a tough decision.

Shot 792 out in Reno in '06 with one of my TNV's and was thinking that this one should match up better. Have had 6 NV line balls so far (plus tossed 2 of my brothers) and have loved everyone of them.

I think it is pretty widely accepted that the CNV was the best. I have 3 TNV's and 2 CNV's and the CNV is right up there with my favorite ball ever and I have seen most of the technology from the last 15 years. Own over 200 balls b/t me and my bro and have thrown probably 500 different ones over the years. I have the ability to usually still get a good roll/release out of a ball even when it does not fit me so I check out any piece that someone will let me throw.

I don't think you're going to see much difference in reaction from this ball that what you currently are using.

Unless you're going to just hold it as a collector item, I'd sell it. There was a time this thing was fetching as much as $300 for a ball with decent specs.

Keep looking... I'm sure there's a 300 in one of those balls you keep buying!!

Yeah I agree Inverted...I have a couple Attitude Shifts and a Rising that give me the 'early/smooth' look so I will probably end up selling it.

i took an NV out to reno for nationals for my first year. I wasnt able to throw it in team beacuse it was just too much on the backend. the ball was super strong. When i bowled doubles and singles i only got to use it the 2nd and 3rd game of singles because the guys we crossed with were using plastic balls that carried oil down the lane and i needed something to recover and the NV was the only ball i had that did that.

i think it was a great ball, but it was just sooooooo much for me at the time.

Just saw this post about the Original NV.  I have 3 of them.  Got all of them used.  The 2 i have drilled for me are prob 2 of the best balls i have ever seen in action or thrown by me.

My first NV the first 4 sets i threw with it in league were 750,730,690,720.
Unbelieveable strength and power.  My second one i had to get redrilled after i got it because it rolled out severly.  I got it redrilled with a modified RICO drill and this balls is about 3-4 boards stronger than my first one.  Very smooth/strong roll.  Very good Ball for some oil.

May be selling one of the 3 i have but not sure yet.
