Title: nvs kinetic are they related
Post by: toomanytenpins on November 05, 2007, 10:03:19 AM
these 2 came out the same time and have with out looking at numbers relative close stats i think. Are they the same ball or is the kinetic what the nvs was supposed to be . I have only seen one kinetic ,but it seemed to be the same weak in the knees ball that the nvs is at 2000 polished box surface. Any thoughts or comparisons would be appreciated. I wanted the kinetic ,butit wasnt in stock so i got the nvs. I probably could have done better with any other of ebonites new releases.

I think the NVS will start up a little sooner than the Kinetic with more of a continuous backend motion, while the Kinetic goes a bit longer and flips hard on the backend.  Both are great balls though.

I think they are comparable, but go about their jobs in slightly different ways. Both are supposed to be very strong reacting and great hitting balls. The NVS has a higher Mass Bias so it is more sensitive to your PAP and the drilling. The Kinetic's mass bias rating is very low so the MB can almost be ignored and the ball treated as a symmetric.
