Hi Everyone,

I went out and practiced for a bit on Sunday afternoon with my buddy. Decided to take some shots of the Big One. I've had the ball for a little over a month now. Ball is currently at 800 grit.

I threw the ball along with my The One (1000 grit w/Brunswick Factory Polish over it), Hammer Big Blue Pearl, & my friends Storm Fired Up & Brunswick Rampage.

Shot was a Medium-Heavy Top Hat type pattern with dry boards outside 5. Shot seemed oilier and longer inside than usual. The shot def. dictated finding friction on the outside boards near the gutter to get the ball to the pocket consistently.

Hope you guys enjoy it and hope you find it helpful. I also promised some of you here that I'd do another video, so here it is.

Sweet vid man! I like the way you roll the ball.

The One is awesome, isn't it?! I just got on about a week ago, and I love it. I was practicing tonight with it as a matter of fact, and got 12 in a row.

I like your reaction with the Rampage the best, followed by your reaction using the Big Blue Pearl (wish I could've seen more shots with both, but what you posted is good).

In watching the Big One and the One.....it appears to me that the One would be a better overall ball to have in the bag,...yes?

TxStateBowler - Thanks man and yeah, I love The One. I have two of them at different surfaces. They're great! Also, congrats on the 12 in a row in practice hehe.

Dan - Thanks dude. I sent you a PM back!

Fluffer - Thanks man. Still working on the game and thanks for the good words. The Big One is pretty nice. It reads the mids earlier. If you're looking for something to cover more oil, then The Big One seems to be a great fit.

Walking E - Yeah, After our 4th game, the Rampage seemed to work nice as the lanes started to break down. The pearls really ate up the dry and moved off the friction. I'll try to get more vids of the Big Blue Pearl as well.

JeffRevs - Jeff, I've had the One since December and it still hasn't showed signs of quitting. It's one of my favorite balls. Try one out if you haven't yet!

Ace38 - Thanks bud. When I have time to goof off (which is most of the time hehe), I like to put these together. Glad you enjoy em'.

Take care y'all,
Ram

Keep posting videos like this if you can! It's great to see the reactions of the different equipment, and the video quality was pretty good (although the one long shot wasn't too great). Thanks!

From that video the Big One looked like a big disappointment to me.  The Big Blue Pearl looked like twice the ball off the dry, and the Big One didn't do much if it stayed in the oil.

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback!

Strider - I forgot to mention that as the Track Area Broke down after about 2 games, I started to throw the Big Blue Pearl, Fired Up & Rampage. The Big One and The One were thrown when the shot was fresh. The shots of each ball were shown in the order they were thrown. I should've mentioned this in the Video as well. Thanks for pointing that out!

Take care everyone,
Ram

I liked the look of the Fired Up.  How did you like it?  I have been thinking of getting one when I need something new.  Great vid!

Your lanes must break down very fast or you were throwing charcoal down the track to change it that much in two games, assuming you were the only bowler.  I would have thought playing the Big One down the oil line would be what it was made for.  A ball that strong (supposedly) shouldn't need dry boards on the outside on anything less than true heavy oil.  I haven't been an Ebonite fan for a long time.  The One is a ball I like the look of in many different players hands.  If I had some "fun" money, I'd pick one up to see what it would do for me.  I haven't seen the Big One live on a heavier shot, but your video didn't make me think it would be a good choice.
