Title: Old ball info
Post by: Juggernaut on May 19, 2011, 05:43:05 AM
Does anyone know of a place where you can get the tech specs for a ball that doesn't show up on the website anymore, not even in the archive of retired balls?

In particular, I'm looking for the specs on the original green Nitro/R in a 14lb weight.

You may want to email Ebonite.  Even if it doesn't appear on their site, they should be able to find the specs for you.

Medium-Heavy Oil: Storm Anarchy: 1500 polished
Medium Oil: Roto Grip Nomad Dagger: 1500 polished

Already did. This ball isn't even listed there. I would've at least listed it myself with no specs, but it seems I no longer have access to do that.

I have reinstated your publisher rights.

If you havent been active on the site for a while, I revoke your rights to add balls.

I dont want dormant accounts with these abilities.

If a ball is not listed, its either pre-1990 or I and others were unable to track down any specification or pictures from any source available.

I would encourage that you get concrete information about the ball including a picture before adding it to be consistent with the other balls on the website.

You have forgotten how I am, haven't you?

 I'm thorough, if nothing else.
Anything  I put on there will be correct. You can bet on that.

At times, I find incorrect things others have put there. That's when I found out that I could no longer add or edit because I was going to correct it and couldn't.

You need have no fear that I will be a detriment to the site. Incorrect info, especially on older stuff that people need access to at times, is unacceptable. I want my info correct before I put MY name on it.

Besides, I'm off work right now with a broken arm, so I've got plenty of time to look around for stuff. I've been bored to death looking for something to pass the time.
