How's everyone liking the new gamebreaker?
« on: April 11, 2011, 03:17:53 AM »
Drilled up my gamebreaker last week for thurs night league. drilled it just like my old one. pin under the bridge, cg at 45*. weight hole on my pap on the center line. did everything i remembered from my original one.

only got to throw it 1 and 1/2 games though because it started burning up and hooking or rolling out. 254 first game, 9/ x x 9/ x 9/ 63 then put it away.

love the midlane roll and snap on the backend that i get. one of my favorite balls of all time, so glad to have it again.

You can't go wrong with the Mission. It was one of if not the the most popular and most versatile ball made last year. With the Mission and Gamebreaker drilled similar like I have mine, the Mission goes a bit longer and the Gamebreaker hooks a bit earlier when left in NIB surface. My Mission is drilled 50* x 4" x 70* with Pin under RF and has a P3 position weight hole and the Gamebreaker is drilled 60* x 4 3/8" x 65* with the Pin under the RF and slighted the bridge and no weight hold. The Mission goes longer with a sharper break. The Gamebreaker with NIB surface begins hooking a bit earlier. Both balls have excellent hit, pin carry and continuation thru the pin deck. Both balls will handle oil. Length of oil determines which ball I start with. Overall, the Mission is stronger for me. I would definitely get that Mission your shop has if it is a good deal.

What I have just written is how it is for me with the two balls. For someone else, it might be different, I don't know.

Are your Mission and GB drilled similar?  How much stronger do you think the Mission is than the GB?  My local shop has a decent deal on a Mission with a 2" pin, and I've kind of been eying it.  Would you think it's worthwhile to have both of these balls, or are they too similar?

My original (red) Mission has been my main ball most of the time followed by my Game On. I am hoping the Gamebreaker will fill in a small void between my Mission and Game On. I may have to apply a really lite coat of polish to my Gamebreaker, but will wait until I get 15-20 games on it to decide. I am hoping as soon as it absorbs a bit of oil and develop a lite sheen like my old one, that it will perform like my old one.

Got my new 15# Gamebreaker remake 2 1/2 weeks ago. Drilled it exactly the same (60* x 4 3/8 x 65*) and it rolls exactly the same as my old 14# Gamebreaker. With the Origional Mission, Game On & Gamebreaker Remake,  I have the perfect arsenal for me on the conditions I bowl on.
