Magic Touch, Lane Breaker, Boom, Smash Mini Review
« on: May 28, 2009, 04:57:37 AM »
I finally got a chance to throw these yesterday.

Magic Touch - Drilled the same as my Magic, Touch is about a foot longer and has more backend. Overall I think the hook potential is the same but for someone looking for more length, this would be the choice.

Lane Breaker - Drilled the same as my Game Breaker, it is about 8-10" longer and very smooth off of the breakpoint. Also, this ball continues through the pins very well.

Boom - Reminds me of my old trusty Blue Vibe but with a little more length and continuation. This ball is very predictable. Gets down lane very clean and nive even continuous roll down lane.

Smash - The strongest (for me) of the new ones so far. I know it is a low end ball but it is strong. A little earlier than I expected but good pop on the back. Reminds me a lot of the Cherry Vibe but a touch earlier. The Boom and Smash will compliment each other very well.

Hope this helps in upcoming decisions for everyone.

I agree with you on everything (haven't had time to drill my Boom or Smash)

Magic Touch - has got that loopy Angle off the corner. Surprisingly predictable too. Its got that hard arc to the pocket with good continuation.

Lane Breaker - good god!....... absolutely ridicules, beefy monster. It gets down lane great and has a very heavy motion to the pocket. Then i hit it with a fresh 4000 pad and WOW...... It is now the beast of my bag. One of the strongest moves I've seen in a while. Plus, the shelf appeal is great too.
