Title: Omega Acryllium
Post by: A_P_K on September 13, 2008, 06:41:46 AM
I will be acquiring one of these shortly.

Just wanted to know if anyone had a drill sheet they could link up.

Or let me know which way the clock should be for use on drier lanes.

I read "E" under the pin, basically the clock upside down should be a weak drill...???

I think you can drill it like any modern asymmetric if you have access to a MB locating tool like the DeTerminator...

Oh I forgot about the small Omega symbol on the ball.  I could go about it as usual if I can't locate a sheet.

The small omega symbol is the balls marked cg.

The riser pin in the logo is the main pin locating the core body, there is a small locater pin 6 3/4" from the main pin in the direction of b on the drillers clock.  The psa on a determinator is generally 6 3/4" from the main pin on the "H/D" line.

Generally "A" up are good length drills.  The longest drilling involves putting "H" straight up on the grip centerline with the pin above the fingers, but this layout is not always flare safe...

...as memory serves.

good luck and good bowling.

To make sure the layout you want is flare safe, follow where a line through H and D goes to where your track is, that will be the bow tie point.(sorry just doing that through memory, little hard to do without a sheet on me)

Usually A at 12.00 layouts are good for length and flip, E at 12.00 for revs and strong arc.
