I bought a Playmaker 3 weeks ago and really like it. That ball reserves sooo much energy until it gets down the lane and then appears to hit really hard for a 14# ball.
Today during my senior league, a Senior bowler walked up to me and asked if I wanted to sell my Storm Rapid Fire Solid. Since I liked that ball one day and didn't the next, and etc, I have never became comfortable with it so I told him I might, how much would he gave me for it. He made an offer and I accepted it and handed it to him on the spot.
After bowling, I went to the Pro Shop and ordered a Gamebreaker hoping it will compliment my Playmaker.

I hope you have as much success with the new ball and they work well together.

Oil is served Best with fingers!
Why does the 8 Pin laugh at me!

Keep it clean and you'll love the ball. The cover soaks oil in so there's a bit more work to it than other balls. I think my wife would trade me off before she'd get rid of her's.

Might as well go ahead a clear some space in your closet for your other equipment now as it won't be seeing much action anymore.

Azguy, this is the main thing that concerned me, but with the perfect match-up for me and success I am having with the Playmaker I just had to try the Gamebreaker also. I clean my balls very religously after every bowling session with Ultimate Black Magic Rejuvenator. I don't just spray the ball lightly and wipe off like many people do....I spray the ball heavy enough that the cleaner starts to run off. I then let it sit until I start to see signs of evaporation and then wipe it off. On pearl balls, I clean with Clean & Dull every 25-30 games and on solids I clean with it every 15 games or so.
I have just now begun to try Valentino's new "Remedy RX" ball cleaner, so I don't know yet if it removes oil as well as the Black Magic Rejuvenator or not, but it does do a super job of making the ball surface tacky. Best I have seen.
What method do you use to keep your wife's Gamebreaker as free of oil as possible?

Gazoo, that is what happened when I got an AMF Heist early this year. I just gave it to a Senior bowler last week that badly needed a ball but couldn't afford one and I was ready to buy another Heist but decided to try the Gamebreaker first because I have always been a fan of the V2 core and I love the new Playmaker I got 3 weeks ago. My Playmaker is threatening to send my Brunswick Twisted Fury to the closet. For a 14# ball, a person would think it weighed 16# for as hard as it hits the pins and makes them mix. That ball retains a ton of energy for the back end. I am hoping the Gamebreaker will do likewise.

You'll love it, the Gamebreaker is such an amazing ball. I've had my first one for over at year and it gets used EVERY time i'm on something hard and there is enough oil to get it down the lane, I threw it on every pattern in my PBA league. I've never had such a consistently great rolling ball.
There's no excuse not to own one.

Brick, I'm overly cleaning both hers and mine. After every set, I use Abzorb-it, let it set on half the ball for 12 hours, other half 12 hours. Then Clean N Dull. Keep in mind, I have a pro shop, I have the time and cleaners.
I use CPR every now and then but Abzorb-It is cheaper and works just as well.

The Playmaker and Gamebreaker compliment each other very well as the Playmaker is just a pearl Gamebreaker.

Guess it will may be a bit before I get my Gamebreaker as I wanted a 2" pin and my pro shop received a 4" pin, so I told him to send it back and get the right one. Also I fell off the 3rd step from the top of an 8' ladder while trimming a tree late today and I don't know how bad I hurt my ankle and heel of my left foot. All I know is I can hardly walk on it tonight as my heel is really-really sore and hurting and my ankle is swelling.

Wow, hope nothing was broken. Speedy recovery and the GB is well worth the wait. Good Luck !
